2012 FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE (Valencia)

After quite a break, we're back to our F1-themed food fest & interestingly, it's almost a continuation from our last event which was the Spanish GP. With the European Race being held in Valencia, it's spanish food once again, but it was certainly not a disappointment.

We also had a new 'joiner' to our little party as Dolly & Koon joined in as well.

Here's what we had..

To start off... my attempt at a 'Party Sangria'

Audrey's Ham Roll-up Salad, which taste as good as it looks! It's an art piece!

The ever crunchy & delicous roast pork aka 'Siew Yok', not exactly spanish, but hey, pork is universal!!

The Spanish paella

Dolly's Contribution of Meat ball spaghetti... which was very quickly cleaned up by the kids!

The necessary balance to any of our calorie induction meals!

Mr.Chew's Chorizo pasta.... more pork... please!!

Simple but always delicious garlic bread

Once again, we outdo ourselves.... the whole spread!

To top it all off, Dolly's contribution of this sinful dessert!

2012 FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE (Valencia) - The Results!

What a fantastic race!!! Who would have thought that Alonso would actually win from 11th but win he did. Who would also have thought that the 'great' SV could actually get an engine failure but it did happen. It was definately one of the more exciting races of the year and we finally have a double-winner, breaking the streak of 7 different winners in a row.

As for our little league, I believe it's the first time we actually have 0 points as part of the scoring! Only 3 of us had some points & despite me being the only one to choose FA, it didn't really made much of a difference :(. But it did shake up the whole table. Nevertheless, here are the results.

Update

So, it's been a long break and once again, my apologies for the late update (It was a holiday after all!). Not to mention being distracted by Euro2012 as well! (Go England!!)

Anyway, now it's back to business & it's back to Europe again, for the European GP, held at Valencia, Spain.

Viva la Spain!
