I'm pretty sure that was on everybody's minds but alas, it wasn't to be. The rain played a big role in messing up the order for qualifying & frankly made Ferrari look pretty dumb. Nevertheless, Red Bull finally made good their early 'threat' from the first two races, by literally wiping out the field with their 1-2 win. Looks like, it not just full of bull! It was only inevitable that SV will win a race eventually. Interestingly though, he has 2 poles so far in this season & he didn't win those races, but when he DIDN'T get pole, he wins! Go figure!
LH was pretty impressive coming from behind with the exception of the weaving bit with Petrov. I didn't think that it was necessary for him to do that so since he would have easily have overtaken Petrov eventually anyway. According to the rules (or driver's code) it does state that a driver is allowed 1 'move' but LH actually did 4! However, apparently he did get a Black & White flag for 'unsportsman-like behaviour'.
Anyway, can't say that it was the most exciting race, but it was a fairly good race nonetheless. Feels like the initial negative impression of Bahrain (or Bo-hrain) is slowly disappearing. Now we look forward to the Shanghai GP & perhaps the local chinaman (or woman) has something up their sleeves to make it an even more interesting. Maybe to provide all race cars with 'made in china' tires & see how long it can last!

I realise that I should put down what we also did especially in term of food, just for the record.
Anyway, the 'menu' today was excellent. As always we attempt to keep to the theme of the race location, & today of course, was very own home ground.
We started off with some tea treats like the usual kueh & goreng pisang (which was pretty good actually).
As for dinner, we had the good ol' Nasi Lemak, although it was anything but typical. The petai, beef & chicken were simply delicious. My all-time favourite... acar was mmmmmm!! Excellent stuff!
All in all, a good race, fun time, lots of good food as always.... and end up being super stuffed!
