2010 FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX (Silverstone)

This is becoming to be a very bad habit of Red Bull, winning at the time!!! I suppose, if it's any consolation, at least it's not always the same person. Despite Mr.Webber's protestation of not unfair treatment by the team for giving SV the new wing, I guess it was poetic justice that he won & SV got bottled up behind.

The big surprise (or maybe not so) is JB making his way from 14th right up to 4th. The 'almost becoming a bad-habit' is once again Ferrari. Despite doing well in qualifying, they ended up 'pointless' (pun intended!). The team once again messed up FA for telling him it was ok to continue when overtaking RK although I maintain that it actually right advice as he was already ahead & RK did not give space to him. When it was shown who was the ex-F1 driver as adviser to the FIA stewards, I can't help but cry conspiracy! (It was Nigel Mansell, ironcially also an ex-Ferrari man). But that didn't absolve blame on the team for messing up Massa's pit-stop.

Despite this, as a side note, the Spaniards did have success, being crowned as the 2010 World Cup Champions!! Although I may have predicted it correctly, I'm sure many will agree that they deserved to be winners. The Dutch while played very well during the build-up to the Finals, for some reason decided to take on a ruthless attitude towards the game which was unfortunate. This was the view of many writers across the net & many even went as far as to say they should have gotten more red-cards. The infamous kung fu kick of Nigel De Jong on Xabi Alonso was a case in point.

Nevertheless, it's another 4 years wait for a month of sleepless nights. Until then, & until the next race in 2 weeks time, results as follows :
