A Ferrari 1-2 ......... finally!!

But even before the pork knuckles settle down in our tummies, already controversy had begun & it's no less than the silly team orders issue. As some of you probably know by now, Ferrari have been fined US$100k & have been referred to the WMSC for what unfortunately does appear to be team orders.

I've always maintained that this is a stupid rule. Through the years many teams have practice it, albeit subtly but for sure it has been practiced by many. Perhaps Ferrari just sucks at being subtle. Others does it better.

If any team principal says they won't support team orders, wait till they have one driver who only needs 5 points or so to win the drivers championship & are faced with a similar scenario. If they still choose not to do practice team orders, then will I truly believe that they support the idea of F1 being a purely driver sport & that the team does not have a play in this at all. If the FIA really wants to remove team orders, then they should limit just 1 driver to each team & this will certainly take the problem away.


I'm no more a fan of Alonso than I am a fan of Massa but there no secret that I'm a Ferrari fan. In the end, the result benefits the drivers, the team  & the fans. After all, Massa has been signed up for another 2 years with Ferrari, so his time will come when he's up to mark.

Anyway, it's a bit disappointing that such a long awaited win is soured by a controversy. So, until there an official announcement of any further penalties, the current results stands. An update will be made if indeed there are any other changes to the points.
